This innovative, technology-driven service is currently experiencing rapid growth in Europe. Amazon Freight is part of the Amazon Transportation Services organization, responsible for many of Amazon’s best-in-class logistics and transportation operations.
We are seeking a Senior Business Developer to develop our strategic portfolios through relationship building, engagement activities, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This individual will analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities, leverage an extensive network of industry relationships to gather market intelligence, and execute business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, highly analytical, customer-obsessed, and proactive in growing this business.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify new segments and acquire strategic customers with top-tier service.
* Maintain high engagement levels with strategic customers and proactively address their challenges.
* Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio.
* Represent the voice of the customer to guide product development and improvements.
* Lead complex projects to resolve customer pain points and enhance experience.
* Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, including narratives, business cases, and strategic documentation.
* Lead by example and mentor team members to ensure collective success.
A Day in the Life
You’ll be based at one of our sites, enabling close oversight of the delivery process and visibility into logistics operations. You will manage partner relationships, from contract negotiations to performance tracking. Daily communication with partners will be essential to ensure timely deliveries.

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is vital to Amazon’s success, utilizing air, sea, road transport, and advanced technology to maximize efficiency. The team leverages data to drive decision-making, fostering innovation and operational excellence. Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
* Experience in a professional or military setting
* Experience influencing leadership decisions through strategy development
* Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating releases
* Proficiency in written and verbal communication in French, Italian, or Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
* Experience negotiating complex legal agreements
* Background in supply chain, Business Development, or top-tier consulting
* MBA or Master’s degree
* Proficiency in other EU languages
* Entrepreneurial mindset, self-sufficient, adaptable to ambiguity
