Quality Manager - Immediate Start Required
Location: Scunthorpe.
Employment: 6-Month FTC, Permanent Position also Available.
Salary Negotiable + Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance + Perks.
This rapidly growing international manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions operates a number of sites supplying products to the likes of the NHS, PlayStation, Tesco and Sainsburys. They are committed to reducing environmental impact through the use of recycled materials and innovative products, positioning themselves as a market leader built for the future.
As a Quality Manager you will be responsible for preparing two of the company's sites for upcoming announced BRC audits; one site is already AA rated and the other is gaining accreditation for the first time in line with a new product launch. You will be supported by a Quality Coordinator and an external Technical Consultant, and you will be working with already-established systems & procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Owning the site's Quality Management System, ensuring all documentation is kept up-to-date.
* Ensuring both sites are ready for upcoming BRC audits – one in August, one in October.
* Actioning and resolving non-conformances, carrying out root cause analysis and Corrective & Preventive Actions.
* Ensuring all staff are trained to sufficient levels on relevant procedures and Food Safety & Quality Assurance practices.
The Ideal Candidate
* Available to start in 0‑2 weeks.
* Demonstrable experience in a Quality, Compliance or Technical Management role in FMCG.
* Previous responsibility for BRC audit readiness.
* Strong background in Quality, Compliance or Technical Management, ideally within the Packaging sector.
