We’re looking for a Labourer who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You’ll be supporting our trades teams across a range of maintenance and repair works, helping us keep our residents' homes safe, clean, and comfortable.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be a key part of our Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), helping us deliver great repairs and maintenance services. Your role will include:
* Assisting tradespeople with repairs and maintenance work on properties
* Carrying out minor building repairs yourself
* Collecting and disposing of building waste safely and responsibly
* Making sure vehicles, tools, and equipment are checked, safe, and well maintained
* Following all health and safety procedures to protect yourself and others
* Keeping accurate records and reporting any issues as they arise
* Supporting excellent customer service by being friendly, respectful, and professional at all times
* Playing your part in helping us deliver safe, well-maintained homes

What we’re looking for
If you're someone who enjoys practical work, is reliable, and likes being part of a team, you'll fit right in. You’ll need:
* A full driving licence (essential)
* Working at Heights
* To be able to use IT equipment
* Experience of working in domestic properties / social housing
* Able to carry out physically demanding jobs

This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions.
So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action, if any, have you have taken since your conviction.
