You’ll help shape, support and continually improve the engineering tooling used across Solution Engineering, making sure it aligns with business goals, regulatory needs and our technology roadmap.
In this hybrid role, you’ll blend software engineering, automation, DevOps and workflow optimisation to help our teams deliver secure, efficient and scalable solutions. You’ll play a key part in improving how we build, deliver and support our products.
As a Tooling Specialist, you will:
* Act as the subject matter expert for a wide range of engineering tools used to deliver software solutions.
* Configure, support and optimise development and delivery tooling, including source control, CI/CD, wikis and collaboration tools.
* Drive continuous improvement by promoting automation and adopting new tooling and practices that support our technology transformation.
* Partner with engineering teams to maximise the value and effectiveness of delivery platforms.
* Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and manage risks related to tooling.
* Work closely with business teams and vendors to ensure tooling is well‑maintained, understood and effectively used.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong hands‑on experience with development tooling, integration and developer workflows.
* Experience working with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI or Azure DevOps.
* Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing and build optimisation.
* Ability to translate stakeholder needs into effective tooling solutions and collaborate with third‑party suppliers.
