Site Manager – Retail Fit Out

We are currently working with our client who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced retail fit-out project in Sutton. This is a hands-on role requiring strong coordination, programme management, and retail-specific experience.
* Key Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for day-to-day site management of the retail fit-out
* Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure works are delivered on programme
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and client standards
* Maintain high standards of health & safety on site, including RAMS and site inductions
* Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and site access in a live or constrained environment
* Chair daily briefings and liaise closely with the Project Manager and client representatives
* Monitor quality control and ensure snag-free handover
* Keep accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
* Drive the programme to meet tight retail deadlines and opening dates
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail fit-out projects (essential)
* Strong understanding of fast-track retail programmes
* Ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications required
