* Can you spare 1-2 hours weekly for basic home improvements?
* Are you skilled in DIY and eager to assist?
* Do you wish to motivate others to make positive life changes through skill acquisition?

Key Responsibilities
Your role involves performing basic household repairs and modifications such as:
* Gardening
* Flat pack furniture assembly
* Installing curtain rails/blinds
* Hanging pictures and shelves
* Painting
Skills Required
No prior volunteering experience is necessary; however, the following skills are essential:
* Practical DIY and gardening skills
* Good listening and communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
* Reliability and trustworthiness
* Confidentiality
* Ability to build respectful, non-patronising relationships with clients
Volunteer Recruitment and Training
* Our Volunteer Coordinator will meet with you after application to discuss the role and answer questions.
* References and an enhanced DBS check are required.
* You will complete 1-2 hours of online training.
