A leading construction contractor is seeking a Site Manager to oversee fire protection works across multiple sites in the South West. This is a permanent opportunity suited to someone with strong construction experience, ideally within the custodial sector, and a solid understanding of fire protection installations.
Key Responsibilities -
* Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors carrying out fire protection installations (e.g., fire stopping, cavity barriers, intumescent coatings)
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and fire protection standards
* Liaise with clients and produce reports to maintain smooth operations
Requirements -
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* Valid CSCS card
* Knowledge of fire protection systems and standards
* Experience in custodial or public sector projects is highly desirable.
* Must be based within 1 hour of Bristol or Cardiff
* DBS clearance will be required (can be arranged)
