Job Purpose
The post holder is a member of the Human Resources Services Team, responsible for supporting the daily demand of queries related to all aspects of HR Operations. The role requires effectively prioritising incoming calls, emails, and E Forms into urgent and non-urgent categories and taking appropriate action.
The HR Services Team handles HR and payroll queries and inputs data related to individual contractual terms of employment using the NHS ESR system. The team manages a high volume of telephone calls and emails from CLCH employees. It is essential to have a good understanding of HR Operations standard operating procedures and CLCH policies. All enquiries must be logged, tracked, and escalated as appropriate using a workflow system.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process new enquiries in accordance with local Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs).
2. Provide accurate advice on CLCH policies and procedures verbally and in writing.
3. Input data from electronic E Forms into the NHS ESR system accurately, relating to pay and changes to employees' contractual terms and conditions.
4. Provide first-line support for all pay-related queries.
5. Work closely with relevant departments to ensure queries are managed and escalated appropriately within service levels.
6. Undertake audits and surveys as requested.
7. Work with telephonic equipment and computer software to support the Trust HR and HR Operations Team.
