Our client, based in the Wirral, are currently recruiting for Roofer's Labourer on a temporary basis for the next six months. Both positions are due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate for the role is £18.85 per hour paid via an Umbrella Company. The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing, undertaking reactive maintenance, using a PDA system and be willing to travel across the Wirral to carry out works. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a large patch of properties Sourcing items such as tiles, shingles, roofing paper, and other necessary materials Handling the repair of fascias, soffits, guttering work and replace tiles on flat and slanted roofs Working on various different types of roofing including lead and felt Identifying asbestos and using a PDA to input jobs Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working with customers within housing Rewards and Benefits: Fuel card and van provided for the Roofer 3:30 finish on a Friday Working hours: 38 hours per week Monday - Thursday, 8:00am-4:15pm / 3:30pm finish on a Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
