About the Role
The Site Manager will take full responsibility for on‑site delivery across multiple installation and upgrade projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑programmed execution of works.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall site management across installation and operational projects
* Planning and managing site programmes and daily activity
* Leading health and safety on live operational sites
* Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations
* Client‑facing responsibility and coordination on site
* Managing subcontractors and specialist trades
* Overseeing installation, commissioning, and decommissioning works
* Driving site efficiency and maintaining project timelines
* Coordinating logistics, materials, and sequencing of works
* Monitoring progress and resolving site‑based issues quickly
* Ensuring high standards of safety and operational control at all times
* Reporting progress to project and engineering teams
* Supporting smooth handover at completion stages
Experience within waste, recycling, materials handling, or similar industrial environments would be advantageous, particularly on live operational or heavy engineering sites.
