My client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to join their UK Office of the General Counsel on a 6 month contract (with potential to extend). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, innovative employment law team advising high-profile, international clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on complex employment law matters, including TUPE transfers, restructures, dismissals, investigations, and disputes.
* Advise senior stakeholders and HR on global reorganisations and workforce-related projects.
* Manage client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and support business development initiatives.
* Mentor and support junior lawyers while contributing to the team’s growth and knowledge-sharing.
* Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams, leveraging technology-enabled solutions where appropriate.
* Work with an enviable roster of multi-national clients on business-critical employment matters.
* Deliver solutions that support client growth, transformation, and operational excellence.
Candidate Profile:
* UK-qualified solicitor with 8–13 years PQE in employment law, ideally in a leading law firm or comparable environment.
* Experience advising large employers and multi-national organisations on complex, cross-border employment matters.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication.
* Proven ability to manage projects and deliver workstreams effectively.
* Collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-focused, with demonstrated business development experience.
