Hours: 7 am-2.30 pm / 8am - 3pm Days: Monday- Friday Enhanced DBS needed This position will require working in a variety of primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities across the Birmingham area. Working as part of the catering team, you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals. Chef / Cook Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook lunch for the students. * Oversee food production and cooking * Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations. * Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. * Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies. * Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste. * Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair. * Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
