We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth and development of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, identifying opportunities through data-driven insights, and implementing effective contact strategies to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement tailored sales strategies that address the unique needs of smaller turnover customers, with a focus on maximising the placement of pattern books in the marketplace.
* Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, and promote existing and new collections.
* Understand customer needs to maximise sales opportunities.
* Secure future business through appropriate service and support.
* Develop and deliver an effective customer contact strategy using all contact tools.
* Deliver world-class customer service to maximise sales opportunities.
* Input customer feedback into CRM and work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure order accuracy.
* Follow up on calls and emails, analyse performance, and provide data insights.
* Submit accurate reports and monitor sales performance with management.
* Complete all necessary administration and meet personal sales targets.
* Employ effective sales techniques to promote, upsell, and cross-sell products, building strong business relationships.

Measures of Success:

* Achieve sales budget and year-on-year growth.
* Operate within expenditure budgets.
* Maintain call and email activity levels.
* Meet sales success criteria as per the budgeted plan.

Connecting with Others:

* Collaborate with sales colleagues, customer service, finance, and senior management.
* Manage relationships with customers and gather feedback on service performance.

Skills & Experience:

* Proven sales experience, ideally in call centres or mail order catalogues.
* Strong business sense and industry knowledge.
* Experience with product knowledge and building long-term relationships.
* Self-driven, results-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
* Experience with CRM systems and WG360.
