We are looking to recruit an excellent Catering Manager to join our team at Pheasey Park Farm Primary School.

Pheasey Park Farm Primary School & Early Years Centre is a 3-form entry school and we cater for around 380 pupils and staff daily in addition to a successful morning break service.

Our catering service is managed In-house, with the support of our catering consultancy team CMC. This enables flexibility with our menus, local food sourcing and the ability to offer a quality, nutritional meal that pupils will enjoy.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Catering Manager for our busy, thriving school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our established team and someone who will lead and manage the development of our catering operation, with the support of our catering consultants.

As the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a range of creative ideas for the menus and services, therefore to be successful for this position you must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking on a large scale. You should also have previous supervisory experience in a similar role. This role is hands on and the emphasis will be on producing quality meals within agreed financial boundaries.

We are looking for somebody that has a desire to make a difference to our children, who understands how to foster healthy eating habits and can make lunchtime an enjoyable experience.

The ability to communicate well with children and adults is essential.

Elston Hall Learning Trust has been established since 2015 and currently consists of six schools across Wolverhampton, Walsall and Sandwell. The Trust is underpinned by the moral purpose to change lives for the better and ensure our children achieve their potential. We want our children to be the best they can be and through learning believe that they can achieve anything. We share these same values for our staff and pride ourselves on a culture of support and trust. As a member of our team, you will benefit from access to an Employee Assistance Programme through Medigold Health, access to the Local Government or Teachers Pension Scheme, excellent CPD opportunities as well as working with an outstanding and supportive team of colleagues.

You must also be aware of and adhere to the Trust’s and school’s policies and procedures in connection with Child Protection and Safeguarding.
