Job Summary and Key Responsibilities: Fauldhouse Corps (Church and community space) provide spaces for food, conversation and connection with the local community. As Cook, you will take the lead on the provision of food for our lunch club and drop-in day café and prayer space. Working closely with Corps leadership, you will adapt a menu to suit the needs of our customer and use the provisions purchased and donated thus reducing costs and waste. The successful candidates you will be able to demonstrate: Good knowledge and experience of preparing and serving food and use of kitchen tools and equipment Have up to date knowledge of food hygiene requirements Proven experience of dealing with the general public and providing good customer service Hold a current Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake qualification & complete within an agreed time.
