Site Manager (Social Housing) – Crewe. This role will be offered initially on a temporary basis, with strong potential to become permanent for the right individual. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Location: Crewe
Salary: £240.00 per day – £260.00 per day
The Role
You will be working on a long-standing social housing refurbishment contract, supporting kitchen and bathroom maintenance, roof, window & door replacements and upgrade programmes for a major registered housing provider.
This is a hands-on site leadership role, ideal for a Site Manager who is confident managing multiple workstreams, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering quality outcomes in occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and take responsibility for all electrical works within kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and waste management policies
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date H&S documentation
* Induct all staff, subcontractors, and visitors to site
* Ensure customer satisfaction standards are met at all times
* Manage, motivate, and support directly employed site staff
* Maintain high standards of site presentation
* Chair regular site meetings and pre-plan works
* Ensure efficient use of labour, materials, and subcontractors
What You'll Need
* Experience within the social housing sector
* NVQ Level 4 / HNC (or equivalent experience)
* SMSTS
* Scaffold Inspection
* CSCS Card
* Asbestos Awareness (Duty to Manage desirable)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Kitchen & bathroom refurbishment background
