Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment, facilitating communication, and assisting with various operational duties.
Duties
* Provide administrative support to the operations team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
* Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up to date.
* Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
* Communicate effectively via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues.
* Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, data management, and presentations.
* Support the financial team with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as required.
* Organise files and maintain an orderly office environment to enhance productivity.
Skills
* Previous office experience is essential for understanding the dynamics of a professional environment.
* Proficient computer skills with a strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools.
* Demonstrated administrative experience that showcases your ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines consistently.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory.
