Temporary HR Administrator - 12 months!
Location: Hull, HU12 8JD
️ Hours: 25-30 hours per week (flexible)
Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour
Contract: Temporary- 12 months
Key Responsibilities
️ HR Administration
1. Maintain accurate employee records (paper & digital)
2. Produce HR letters, documents, and correspondence
3. Schedule meetings and take minutes when needed
4. Handle filing, scanning, post, photocopying & general admin
5. Support the HR inbox and escalate queries
6. Liaise with external services (DBS, Occupational Health)
Recruitment & Onboarding
7. Create and post job adverts
8. Prepare interview packs & respond to applicant queries
9. Process new starter paperwork, ID checks & compliance
10. Draft contracts & ensure all pre-employment checks are completed
11. Set up new starters on HR systems
12. Track and monitor probation periods
Training & Development
13. Maintain & update training records
14. Produce simple training reports
15. Assist in organising training sessions & events
Reporting
16. Collect absence, sickness, starter/leaver data
17. Assist with monthly HR reporting
18. Produce basic HR system reports when required
Experience Required
19. Knowledge or exposure in a HR Administration position
20. High attention to detail and accuracy
21. IT literate - confident using Excel, Outlook, and CRM/HR systems
22. Strong organisational and communication skills
