The Employment team is widely regarded as one of the leading practices in the UK, advising an impressive range of clients including multinationals, high‑growth companies and senior executives. The practice covers the full breadth of employment matters and has a market‑leading specialist group focused on High Court litigation, particularly disputes involving restrictive covenants, team moves, confidential information and urgent injunctions.
The Role
You will work across a broad range of contentious employment matters, with a particular emphasis on High Court litigation. Responsibilities will include:
* Advising on restrictive covenant disputes, team moves, breach of contract and misuse of confidential information.
* Managing applications to obtain, resist and enforce injunctions, including urgent matters.
* Drafting pleadings, applications, evidence and related correspondence.
* Supporting partners on strategic planning for complex disputes.
* Advising clients on high‑value and sensitive issues requiring strong commercial judgement.
* Contributing to know‑how, training and broader business development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
* At least 1 year’s PQE with experience in employment‑related disputes, gained in either an employment or litigation team.
* Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
* A clear interest in specialising in High Court employment litigation.
* High attention to detail and a proactive, commercial approach.
* Interest in developing business development and client‑facing skills.
* Experience with financial services regulatory issues is advantageous but not essential.
