Fullstack Developer – Birmingham, West Midlands (Hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Benefits
We’re working with an award-winning software house based in central Birmingham who are building world-class cloud solutions used by clients around the globe. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a Fullstack TypeScript Developer to join their cross-functional, agile development team.
The Role As a Fullstack Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing and building intuitive, data-rich, and user-friendly applications. You’ll work across the full stack, with a particular focus on Node.js backend development, while also creating high-quality front-end interfaces in React.
Core Responsibilities for this Developer role:
Develop, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications and services.
Focus on Node.js backend development and RESTful API design.
Collaborate with designers, product owners, and fellow developers in an agile environment.
Build and optimise front-end features using React.
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to deliver reliable, maintainable code.
Use Git for version control and Azure DevOps for tracking progress and estimations.Core Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience developing commercial software and web applications.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building data-heavy applications.
Skilled in Node.js backend and API development.
Proficient with React for front-end development.
Hands-on experience with unit testing and TDD.
Confident managing branches with Git.
Detail-oriented with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
