This isnt a hard-sell role; its about building genuine rapport with educators and making every single one feel like theyre the only school were working with.</p><p>As a key member of our New Schools Team, youll take event leads and warm enquiries and guide them through the Educake journey. Every touch point is important - from that first conversation all the way through to subscription and beyond.</p><p>We play the long game here. We want more than quick wins and forgotten customers. We want educators to feel genuinely supported, to see real value in what we offer, and to become advocates for Educake within their schools and trusts.</p><h3>Why This Role is Important:</h3><p>Sales are central to our strategy. Were growing, and this role is at the heart of that growth. But we grow the right way, which we believe is through trust, through genuine conversations, and through making educators lives easier.</p><p>The person in this role will often be the first impression many schools get of Educake. Thats a big deal. Every email, every demo, every follow-up call is a chance to show an educator that we genuinely care about their challenges and that were here to help — not just to sell.</p><p>Were a tight-knit team with a brilliant culture. They shape how we work every single day.</p><h3>A Busy Role — In the Best Possible Way</h3><p>This role is full-on and busy. Right now, we’re actively managing 335 different subject trials across schools, whilst simultaneously identifying and nurturing new opportunities. That’s a lot to hold in your head, and it requires someone who genuinely thrives in a fast-moving environment.</p><p>What makes the difference isn’t just working hard. It’s thinking smart. You’ll need to build your own processes and ways of working that let you stay on top of every lead, every trial, and every follow-up without things slipping. We’ll support you with HubSpot, with best practices that work and the wider team, but the ability to think on your feet, create sensible systems, and stay agile whilst keeping every interaction meaningful is absolutely essential here.</p><p>If you’re someone who gets energy from variety and finds satisfaction in bringing order to complexity, you’ll love it here.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Product Demos</li><li>Event Lead Engagement</li><li>Lead Qualification & Nurturing</li><li>Collaboration with Account Managers</li></ul><h3>Skills & Attributes:</h3><p>Were not looking for the loudest person in the room. Were looking for someone who:</p><p>Builds relationships naturally and makes people feel genuinely heard and valued</p><p>Is meticulously organised. You juggle multiple leads without dropping a single one</p><p>Has excellent attention to detail. Your notes are clear, your CRM is tidy, and your follow-ups are timely</p><p>Communicates warmly and clearly, whether thats in writing, on a call, or in person</p><p>Takes a consultative approach — you ask great questions and listen before you recommend</p><p>Is a strong team player who keeps colleagues informed and works collaboratively</p><p>Is adaptable and proactive — you find solutions rather than problems</p><p>Has a genuine interest in education and in making a difference for teachers and students</p><p>Thrives on variety and can switch between tasks without losing momentum or detail.</p><h3>What Great Looks Like in This Role</h3><p>The best person in this role will make every educator feel like theyre the only school were supporting. Theyll be the kind of person who uses their brilliant organisationto remember key details, such as the teacher who mentioned their Year 10s are struggling, the HoD who said theyd review the budget in January. Theyll follow up at exactly the right moment, with exactly the right message.</p><p>Theyll keepHubSpot immaculate.Every lead will be tagged correctly, every call will be logged, and every next step will be in the diary.
