Site Manager - Remediation & Earthworks Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 per annum Competitive Package Location: Chertsey, Surrey (M25 South/South West Corridor) Contract: Permanent Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a leading Multi-Disciplinary Civil Engineering & Remediation Contractor. The Client Our client is a highly respected specialist contractor known for taking on complex civil engineering, enabling works, and remediation projects. They pride themselves on a massive, modern plant fleet and an uncompromising approach to health and safety. The Role We are looking for a boots-on-the-ground Site Manager who excels in fast-paced earthworks and remediation environments. Site Operations: Managing the day-to-day running of complex remediation sites, ensuring optimal use of heavy plant and direct/sub-contract labour. Health & Safety: Acting as the primary champion for health and safety, conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, and ensuring strict adherence to RAMS. Quality & Environmental: Ensuring all works meet stringent environmental validation standards and waste classification protocols. Logistics: Managing site logistics, muck-away, and material deliveries on constrained or difficult access sites. Requirements Essential: Proven Site Management experience specifically in remediation, bulk earthworks, or heavy civil enabling works. Essential: Valid SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid. Desirable: Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) or Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) tickets are highly advantageous. Location: Must be comfortably commutable to projects along the M25 South/Chertsey corridor. What's on Offer Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 basic salary.
