We are seeking an experienced and pragmatic HR Manager to support a fast-paced operational and logistics environment based in Leicester. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role where you will partner closely with operational leaders to deliver effective HR solutions that support performance, engagement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary HR contact for the site, supporting managers across all people‑related matters
* Provide guidance on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
* Drive HR initiatives aligned with operational goals, including workforce planning and performance management
* Support recruitment and onboarding for site‑based roles
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
* Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements
* Promote a positive workplace culture focused on safety, engagement, and accountability
About You:
* Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role within operations, logistics, or a similar environment
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Confident managing complex employee relations cases
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, site‑based setting
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above preferred)
This is a permanent, on‑site role offering c£40,000 plus car allowance.
