An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and flexible individual to join our dedicated catering team at Pulteney House as a Cook.
Duties include:
1. Preparation, cooking, and serving of a wide range of meals and snacks to the residents as required following a six-week menu plan.
2. Using standard recipes in line with policies and procedures to ensure the relevant safety and hygiene standards are met.
Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH is desirable; however, training will be provided.
This is a part-time permanent post of 12.2 hours per week, covering a three-week rota with working hours from 08:15-15:30 or 09:00-16:45, with occasional early finishes at 15:00. There is weekend working for which the successful applicants are paid 44% enhancement for Saturday working and 88% enhancement for Sunday working. Public holidays are paid at double time.
Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting and the ability to undertake any relevant training.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
