Quality Manager Up to £37,500k per annum Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-2pm Deeside Our client based in the Deeside area is currently recruiting a Quality Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Quality Manager promotes, develops, and oversees compliance of the company quality system. Effectively assuring compliance of customer requirements by managing quality policies, standards, procedures, programs, and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement. Performance Objectives * Ensure that the company always remains complaint with the consumer product standard and chosen QMS systems/standards. * Ensure that the customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organisation is meeting or exceeding customer expectations. * Champion, support and lead quality improvement initiatives. * Responsible for ensuring that all managers, process owners and supervisors develop and maintain their part of the quality management system. * Investigate, report and discuss all non-conformances and customer complaints raised externally or internally and identify possible root causes and potential corrective actions. * Manage all QMS related activities between the relevant business departments. * Collect, collate, maintain, update, and amend all QMS controlled documentation as and when the system requires. * Lead on all internal and external quality audits, report findings to the management team and close out any corrective actions in the timeframe specified as part of the audit review. * Liaise with the external assessment bodies on all matters related to the external accreditation process. * Define new processes and procedures in conjunction with operating staff. * Ensure that business procedures, work instructions and cleaning procedures are properly understood and carried out and recorded accordingly. * Ensure that all line documentation is kept update and completed in agreed timescales and filed in an appropriate manner (e.g. glass register, maintenance records, cleaning schedules). Person Specification * The ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to follow schedules and standards. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external stakeholders. * Experience of working within a similar role is essential. * Good attention to detail. * Industry knowledge: Expertise in relevant quality management systems.
