Service Quality Manager

A well-established care home group is seeking a Service Quality Manager to join their operations team. This field-based role is primarily focused in the North West, with occasional travel across the wider region in line with business needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional to drive continuous improvement and ensure service excellence across a portfolio of care homes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of strategies to enhance service quality across multiple locations.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (CQC).

Collaborate with care home managers to support action planning, quality improvement, and delivery of person-centred care.
*
Provide hands-on support, coaching, and training to home managers and staff.
*
Investigate incidents, support complaint resolution, and embed preventative measures.
*
Act as a key liaison for inspections and regulatory visits, ensuring services are always inspection-ready.
*
Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to inform internal practices.
The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in a quality-focused role within the care home or healthcare sector.

Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and CQC standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to influence, mentor, and support teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Flexible and willing to travel across sites when required.
