To develop training courseware through the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working as a member of a team responsible for analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training sites and organizations.
2. Producing, maintaining, and updating Training Design from: Formal Training Statement (FTS), Training Performance Statement (TPS), Training Objectives (TOs), Workplace Training Statement (WTS), Residual Training Gap Statement (RTGS), to delivery of Assessment Strategy (AStrat), Assessment Specification (ASpec), Learning Specification (LSpec), Training Authorisation Document (TrAD) in DSAT compliant course templates.
3. Interviewing subject matter experts to gather required data.
4. Participating in internal workshops to discuss and agree on findings from analysis.
5. Updating and revalidating course syllabi, standards, trainer competence, qualifications, and experience requirements.
6. Maintaining course information, including course size limits, health and safety, rules, regulations, course length, and resources.
7. Adapting Training Design to new requirements, including new capabilities, ensuring operational relevance and compliance.
8. Incorporating feedback from assurance processes to keep training up-to-date and effective.
9. Identifying opportunities for accreditation of new or amended training programs.
10. Championing a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
11. Performing other duties necessary to complete the CMDC Training Service.
Qualifications and skills:
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Experience in course design and contributing to significant training courses.
* Knowledge of training media development processes.
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
Desirable qualifications:
* Experience in organizational design and development.
* Experience in developing apprenticeship qualifications.
* Degree-level education in a relevant area.
* Teaching and training development qualification at degree level.
* Human Resource Development qualification and experience.
* Membership of a professional body such as CIPD.
