We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Quality Manager for a leading Aerospace organisation based in Filton.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days on-site and 2 days WFH.
Role Overview
As a Supply Chain and Quality Manager, you will work within the team led by the Lead Supply Chain and Quality Manager and report directly to the Head of POELA. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Landing Gear Structures suppliers who provide equipment to multiple civil aircraft programmes. You will build a strong network within the PO community and across a multi-functional environment.
This is a challenging role crucial to supporting the company in achieving on-time and on-quality aircraft deliveries.
The PO department focuses on three main activities: Supply Management (main concerns are quality, time, and cost), Control Supplier (ensuring products meet requirements), and Supplier Development (anticipating issues, mitigating risks, and developing supplier capabilities).
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time and high-quality deliveries to all customers (FALs and Plants).
2. Support supplier development and compliance with applicable requirements.
3. Contribute to the Supply Chain voice in the MFT (Programme, engineering, customer services, buyer).
4. Manage activities in a constantly evolving environment.
5. Engage with external partners.
6. Explore different manufacturing technologies.
