Expectations
* Support the Construction Manager in implementing the EA2 Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management System
* Assist the Site Manager plan the works and apply the principles of prevention
* Assist the Site Manager in the preparation of relevant safety documentation
* Monitor the Landfall HDD Works in accordance with client specifications, EA2 engineering specifications, Development Consent Order (DCO), British Standards, Euro Codes, and other Industry standards
* Attend Site Team Monthly meetings
* Assist site manager by providing information for reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc basis including progress, safety statistics, early warnings, and variations.
Requirements
* Significant experience in supervising HDD / Civil site construction works for electrical transmission projects; or Significant experience in supervising Landfall HDD works for electrical transmission projects
* Awareness of specification, design, maintenance, construction, and commissioning of either civil, electrical, or overhead line and cable works.
* Experience in major UK onshore infrastructure construction projects.
* Safety trained for supervising site construction works, e.g. 5-day CITB SSSTS or equivalent.
