Overview
Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at 200 Abercromby Street, Calton, Glasgow City G40 2RZ on a permanent part-time contract of 21 hours (average) per week.
We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to the menu.
Responsibilities
* Prepare meals according to the menu.
* Menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant.
* Help keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently while ensuring food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures are followed.
Working pattern and benefits
* 21 hours average per week on a 2 week rolling rota: Week 1 Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun; Week 2 Wed, Thurs, Fri
* Daily hours 10.30 to 5.30 (1 hour unpaid break)
* Competitive hourly rate of £13

Who we are looking for
You must be able to move around the kitchen and be adept at multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage.
We support older tenants with a variety of different needs. You will help to provide excellent training and a positive, enjoyable working environment.
