Vanbrugh Group are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Tier 1 social housing main contractor who deliver a wide range of refurbishment, cyclical maintenance, and Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) projects across the home counties.
They are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of SHDF retrofit works and cyclical painting and decorating programmes across sites in Berkshire and Surrey.
This role would suit a confident, organised, and quality-driven manager who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and programme compliance
Manage subcontractors and direct labour on multiple live projects
Deliver SHDF energy efficiency upgrades and cyclical refurbishment works
Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and maintain accurate H&S documentation
Liaise with residents, clients, and the internal project team to ensure smooth delivery
Drive site productivity, uphold quality standards, and meet KPI targets
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have proven site management experience within social housing, general refurbishment, or cyclical maintenance projects
Hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
Be proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Be based in Surrey or Berkshire, with flexibility to travel across wider regions
Hold a full UK driving licence
