Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to take the lead on a major grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) project?
We’re working with a leading EPC service provider delivering large-scale renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects across the UK, and they’re now seeking a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a flagship BESS project based in Aberdeen.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of on-site activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. You’ll coordinate contractors, manage schedules, and maintain strong communication with the project management and engineering teams to deliver the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations for a grid-scale BESS project in Aberdeen.
* Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain site safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with company and client expectations.
* Report progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and wider team.
* Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with HSE requirements and project documentation.
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale renewable energy, grid connection, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems or experience working on electrical installations — BESS or substation experience highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* SMSTS / SSSTS certification preferred.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to be site-based in Aberdeen.
