A Day in the Life of a Cook:
Our Cooks play a key role in serving nutritious, home-cooked meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health and safety:
* Producing varied, tasty menus considering individual dietary requirements
* Providing special diets where necessary
* Cleaning and washing up after meals and ensuring overall kitchen cleanliness
* Preparing and serving meals
* Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
* Managing stock control, replenishing, and ordering
* Ensuring Food Hygiene and Safety standards are met, with all documentation up to date
To qualify, you should have experience as a Cook, the ability to accommodate various dietary needs, relevant qualifications, and Food Hygiene Certificates. Awareness of relevant regulations is essential.
