Overview
Site Manager required by Randstad UK CPE Team to support a new residential site of 10+ plots in Wokingham. Location: Wokingham, Berkshire, with travel to multiple sites. Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum. Benefits include Company Car/Allowance, Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, and Performance Bonus. Contract: Permanent, Full-Time. Start Date: January 2026.
Responsibilities
* Take complete operational control of the site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to Client's quality and finish standards.
* Uphold and enforce the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
* Conduct regular site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to maintain a zero-incident culture.
* Effectively manage and coordinate all sub-contractors and trades (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, specialized finishes, etc.) to ensure productivity and quality workmanship.
* Conduct frequent quality checks against specifications and drawings, identify and resolve defects promptly with a focus on luxury detailing.
* Monitor and drive the construction programme, report progress accurately, and proactively mitigate delays.
* Act as the on-site point of contact for the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and design team, providing clear daily/weekly progress reports.
* Oversee site logistics, including ordering, storage, and security of high-value materials.
Qualifications
* Experience in Site Management on residential new-build projects.
* Demonstrable experience managing sites with luxury or high-specification finishes.
* Proven ability to manage all trades and subcontractors independently, driving performance and quality.
* Strong track record of managing and upholding exceptional Health & Safety standards on site.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid at Work certification.
