We are looking for a proactive HR Officer to support the HR Department in delivering HR strategies and operational plans.
The role involves recruitment coordination, employee relations, training and development, HR reporting, and supporting managers to ensure effective HR practices across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Assist the HR Manager in developing and delivering HR strategies and work plans.
* Build strong working relationships with managers and staff to understand their HR support needs.
* Coordinate the recruitment process and assist managers in meeting resourcing requirements.
* Ensure accurate job descriptions are in place.
* Prepare and deliver new employee inductions.
* Conduct the recruitment lifecycle.
* Capture staff skills and capabilities through skills mapping.
* Identify training needs, find suitable providers, and organise training.
* Provide advice and support to staff on employee relations issues.
* Maintain and update HR administrative requirements, including drafting and filing correspondence.
* Use the HRIS to capture, analyse, and advise on data related to absence, performance, engagement, remuneration, and training.
* Prepare annual pay reviews, issue letters, and update software.
* Liaise with external HR advisors as needed.
* Update and advise on HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with legislation and good practice.
* Other duties commensurate with the post.
Other Responsibilities
* Comply with all policies, procedures, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Hold a valid passport and be willing and able to travel extensively with short notice.
* Work additional hours as necessary to fulfil role requirements.
* Take responsibility for health and safety in area of control and be familiar with the health and safety policy.
