Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you – no late nights, as we close at 5pm (and just 7pm on a Tuesday)

As a Chef, you'll be part of a supportive team – focusing on the delivery of GREAT quality food, menu discipline, and getting creative with specials. You'll also play a key role in our in-house baking, helping us to produce the high-end cakes, pastries, and baked goods our customers love. And don't worry – you'll have the support of a management team who take care of menu changes, marketing, margin controls, and admin tasks.

Once service is done, you'll get to hang up your apron and enjoy genuine work-life balance.

We currently have a position working 35.5 hours per week with the following work pattern:

WEEK ONE: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday = 34 hours

WEEK TWO: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday = 37 hours

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cook, you will be required to:

* Assist the Head Chef in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are met at all times.
* Ensure all due diligence files are completed and signed.
* Contribute as necessary to the improvement/changes to the menu, production methods and environment.
* Maintain a clean, organised kitchen by following "clean as you go" practices.
* Consistently deliver quality food in line with our high-quality standards.
* Minimise waste (portion control, complaints, quality, presentation, mistakes).
* Manage, train and coach new starters as necessary.
* Maintain and promote excellent team working across all areas of catering.
* Cleanliness of the kitchen such as deep cleaning, extraction, cookers and ovens to be of high standard always.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:

The ideal Cook is someone who:

Has a Chef qualification or recognised apprenticeship (desirable).

Has previous experience of working in a busy kitchen environment (essential).

Has good knowledge of food industry regulations and food safety standards.
