The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding our ISO standards and ensuring supplier performance aligns with our operational and compliance goals. This role is central to driving continuous improvement, maintaining audit readiness, and reinforcing our reputation for precision and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
ISO Compliance & Quality Systems
* Lead the development and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS) across all service lines (asset, security, asbestos) utilising external technical expertise as required
* Manage internal audits, external certification processes, and corrective and preventive actions corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) workflows
* Ensure site-specific documentation and procedures meet ISO and client requirements
* Deliver training and support to operational teams on ISO standards and quality protocols
Supplier Quality Oversight
* Evaluate, onboard, and monitor suppliers against OHS Group's quality benchmarks
* Implement supplier scorecards and track KPIs including defect rates, delivery performance, and compliance metrics
* Collaborate with operations and site teams to resolve supplier issues and drive corrective actions
* Lead supplier audits and support processes for new contracts and service expansions
Strategic Integration
* Align quality initiatives with the broader OHS Group sales and operational strategy
* Provide quality input into new site mobilizations, contract renewals, and service transitions
* Report quality metrics and improvement plans to senior leadership, contributing to strategic reviews and planning cycles
Management of External Technical Consultancy
* Manage external resources to deliver technical support and consultancy for specific accreditations (UKAS asbestos accreditation, British Stand security accreditations).
* Setbudgets and support levels required on an annual basis, including increased support for annual audits.
* Fully integrate all systems with our software solutions, working alongside the Head of Operations to ensure all systems are utilised across the business.
Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline
* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
* Proven experience in supplier quality management within facilities, asset services, or industrial sectors
* Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of work.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities when required.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Salary and Other Information
* Full-time, permanent role
* Salary - £38,000 to £44,000 pa (Band 5 – Manager)
* Flexible working and working from home (office based in either Leeds or Manchester as required)
