Balfour Beatty is offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to become part of our Regional Buildings team, contributing to the landmark University of Sussex, West Slopes Project.
In this pivotal role, you’ll champion our “Right First Time” ethos, driving continual improvement across the project and beyond. You’ll be a key partner to our construction team—sharing knowledge, embedding lessons learned, and fostering a strong quality culture that reduces errors and enhances performance. As part of the Regional Buildings quality team, you’ll help shape how we manage quality across the wider business, making a lasting impact on both the project and our future success.
What you'll be doing
As Quality Manager, You Will Manage
1. Planning for Quality: Maintain the Project Quality Plan and ensure we are prepared for compliance with our ongoing and upcoming tasks.
2. Inspection and Test Plans: Check and verify that ITPs are suitable for the works, capture our acceptance criteria and are delivered in time, as per our Project Quality Plan.
3. Materials: Ensure all materials being incorporated into the works have been assessed, are accompanied by the required information and have been accepted in accordance with our Material App...
