In this role, you'll contribute to developing, maintaining, and supporting the Localization Pipeline technology, facilitating seamless integrations, and enhancing efficiency for the Globalization team. As a Localization Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of adopting innovative technologies to dynamically support the localization process, ultimately ensuring high-quality multilingual content delivery. You'll engage closely with cross-functional teams and instill best practices in development, contributing to a company culture celebrated for its inclusivity and cutting-edge solutions.
Accountabilities
* Design and develop high quality and scalable solutions within established timelines.
* Develop and maintain scalable components that support the localization pipeline.
* Build internal tools and automation to improve team efficiencies.
* Implement integrations with translation management systems.
* Create tools leveraging GenAI for multilingual support.
* Collaborate with PMs, Translators, and QA teams to ensure effective localization.
* Diagnose and optimize systems for multilingual content delivery.
* Contribute to AI-based localization frameworks.
* Maintain accountability for code lifecycle.
* Participate in open-source projects.
Requirements
* 5 years of software development experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
* Strong programming skills in Go, TypeScript, or Python.
* Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
* Working knowledge of software localization methodologies.
* Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
* Experience with TMS platforms like Smartling.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication abilities.
