The ideal candidate must hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification and exhibit an outstanding blend of punctuality, reliability, and motivation. Exceptional customer service skills are imperative, along with a strong ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
The position involves planning and leading group classes for our members, as well as performing front-of-house tasks including answering calls, assisting members with inquiries, managing membership setups, and providing tours of our facilities to prospective new members. Teamwork is essential in maintaining our facility to ensure it remains a clean and well-kept environment, creating a pleasant atmosphere for both members and staff.
It's crucial for candidates to be available for various shift patterns, including weekday early morning openings, daytime shifts, evening closings, as well as weekend opening and closing shifts. Shift times may vary. The ability to work weekend shifts on a rotational basis is essential.
All candidates will receive a basic hourly rate, supplemented by additional pay for holiday uplift pay, class instruction pay, and membership sign-up bonuses. Benefits also include a complimentary staff gym membership and free parking.
As a valued member of our team, we request that our staff commit exclusively to our gym and refrain from working at other fitness facilities.
All new staff members are required to complete a 3 month probational period before all benefits are received.
If you hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, we're here to support you in establishing a client base and promoting your services as a personal trainer with our team. Additionally, we offer special rental rates for our staff.
