Job Description HR Officer / HR Advisor (Temporary) Overview Are you a dynamic and experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a proactive and skilled HR Officer / HR Advisor to join our team on a temporary basis for an initial 8-week period. Benefits Salary - £30,000 pro rata Duration - 8 Weeks Initially Hours:Part-Time 2-3 days a week or will consider full-time hours Start Date - ASAP Responsibilities Managing employee relations (ER) cases with professionalism and efficiency Providing clear and practical advice to managers and employees on HR matters Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless candidate experience Interpreting and advising on HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance and best practices Assisting with training and development initiatives to support employee growth Processing maternity and paternity requests, including handling associated pay elements Conducting monthly payroll sense checks and reviewing payslips for accuracy Delivering general HR administration and support as needed Qualifications Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Advisor, or similar generalist HR role Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving Experience managing employee relations cases and providing HR advice Familiarity with payroll processes and maternity/paternity pay elements Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment We do our best to make our adverts as specific as possible so that you do not spend your time applying for roles which are not a match.
