Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: £14+ per hour

Academics are currently seeking a full-time School Site Manager to join a welcoming school in Canterbury. This is a practical, hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone with a background in caretaking, facilities, or site management within a school or similar environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily opening, closing, and overall security of the school site
* Manage general maintenance, repairs, and the upkeep of buildings and grounds
* Carry out routine health and safety checks, ensuring full compliance
* Supervise site staff, contractors, and cleaning teams
* Prepare rooms and facilities for lessons, events, and school functions
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented school environment
* Provide ad-hoc support to staff with site-related needs
* Implement and uphold site procedures and operational standards
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience in a site manager, caretaker, or facilities role (desirable)
* Strong leadership skills with experience overseeing staff or contractors
* A proactive, hands-on approach with good problem-solving ability
* Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations
* The ability to work independently and use initiative
* An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
