Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale F: £28,598 - £31,022 per annum Working Weeks: 52 weeks Start Date: August 2026 This is a full time position of 37 hours over 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, however both full time and part time applications are welcome and encouraged. Great Yarmouth Primary Academy is looking for a Site Manager to take the lead in ensuring our school environment is safe, secure, and ready to support the success of our students and staff every day. What You’ll Be Doing As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Academy’s buildings and grounds. You’ll oversee site security, carry out routine maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days are the same! You’ll also play a key role in keeping our facilities in top shape; from making sure heating and lighting systems are functioning, to ensuring our site is compliant with all relevant legislation. You'll lead a small team, manage budgets, support improvement projects, and even keep our Academy minibus clean and road-ready. About You: You will be someone who possesses strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, combined with knowledge of safety regulations. You will be proactive, resilient, able to handle daily challenges, and to maintain stakeholder relationships.
