The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for the safe operations of their area and plan resource and safely deliver construction activities.
The Site Manager will work closely with the site team and report daily to the Project Manager. The Site Manager will attend daily and weekly progress meetings and report accurately to the PM with regard to their area of responsibility. They will be responsible for health and safety and must act when breeches occur. Must have experience working towards deadlines and be prepared to support the team when handovers are nearing. A good eye for detail is required to ensure the right quality and specifications are achieved.

Responsibilities
The duties of the Construction Site Manager include, but are not limited to:
* Deliver of Site Safety Introductions.
* Carryout weekly toolbox talks.
* Supervise construction activities.
* Monitor Health & Safety.
* Assess method statements and risk assessments.
* Produce daily, weekly, monthly programmes
* Chair subcontractor progress meetings and maintain minutes and notes.
* Be commercially aware and work closely with the site PM and PQS.
* Arrange shift patterns when required.
Personal Specifications
The successful candidate will possess the following traits:
* Degree qualified ideally.
* Obtain a suitable H&S qualification – NEBOSH, IOSH Managing safety.
* Undertaken a 5 Day SMSTS.
* Hold CSCS Site Manager card.
