Position
Human Resources Administrator (Workforce)
Contract: Permanent (37.5 hours per week, subject to probation).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility considered for the right candidate.
Interview Date: Thursday 21st May 2026.
Responsibilities
* Support day‑to‑day activities of the HR team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
* Assist with recruitment, using the Applicant Tracking System and supporting recruitment and selection processes.
* Liaise with prospective employees regarding recruitment, selection, and onboarding, ensuring clear communication.
* Submit monthly HR paperwork to payroll, including pay calculations, in accordance with payroll timeframes.
* Provide first point of contact for managers and employees for queries on terms and conditions of employment, HR system usage, and training.
* Maintain accurate electronic and manual HR records in the HR System SMI.
* Support managers and staff across the hospice, managing confidential information with care and complying with employment law.
Qualifications
* General education: GCSEs including Maths and English.
* CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice.
Experience & Attainments
* Experience working in an HR environment and/or administrative environment.
* Computer skills and awareness of electronic HR systems.
* Dealing with people face‑to‑face.
* Data reporting.
* Working within a confidential environment.
* Ability to introduce, develop, and maintain support systems.
* Basic understanding of employment law legislation.
