Chef / Cook – Part-Time (Alternate Weekends + Week Days / Evenings)
Location: The Pear & Partridge, Perton
Hours: Alternate weekends + flexible weekday support shifts
Reports to: Owner & Kitchen Team
The Pear & Partridge is a busy, community-focused pub with a reputation for quality food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. We're looking for a Chef / Cook to join our expanding kitchen team — someone confident in a pub kitchen environment and happy to lend a hand with all aspects of the job.
You'll be working alongside three existing experienced chefs who currently run the kitchen, supporting them during alternate weekends and helping on weekdays to keep everything clean, organised, and running smoothly.
Your role will include:
* Preparing and cooking dishes to Pear & Partridge Spec
* Covering alternate weekends as part of the kitchen rota
* Supporting the team during service, prep, and clean-down
* Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas, including deep cleans and freezer organisation
* Taking in and putting away deliveries
* Helping to promote kitchen trade by sharing social media adverts and offers
We're looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a pub or restaurant kitchen (chef or cook level)
* Works well as part of a small, friendly team
* Is reliable, flexible, and takes pride in their work
* Has good organisational skills and a can-do attitude
* Understands the importance of hygiene and kitchen standards
