Job Description
The In-house Employment Lawyer will be:
* Leading contentious employment litigation and tribunal representation
* Advising on non‑contentious matters: restructures, policies, TUPE, redundancy
* Supporting HR on investigations, disciplinary processes, and settlement agreements
* Monitoring and advising on employment and people-related regulatory changes
* Coaching internal stakeholders and delivering training sessions as needed
The Successful Applicant
The In-house Employment Lawyer should be:
* A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years PQE in employment law
* Skilled in both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters
* Experienced with FS regulatory frameworks (e.g., SMCR, FCA/PRA)
* A clear communicator with strong negotiation and influencing capabilities
* Comfortable working in-house within a complex, collaborative legal function
