We are delighted to be recruiting for a Human Resources Administrator to join a busy and collaborative HR team within a well-regarded professional services firm, based in Edinburgh.
This newly created role reflects the team’s commitment to delivering outstanding internal service and supporting the ongoing development of talent across the business.
You will provide vital administrative support to the HR function, ensuring the smooth running of processes across various aspects of HR operations.
What you'll do:
* Coordinating and processing Learning & Development activities and related administration
* Maintaining and updating the HR system, ensuring data integrity for management reporting
* Supporting onboarding processes including preparation of offer letters, contracts, and induction schedules
* Assisting with offboarding tasks and preparing relevant leaver documentation
* Taking incoming calls related to absence reporting and logging relevant details
* Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Head of HR
* Ensuring employee records are accurate, confidential, and up to date
What you’ll need:
* Previous HR Administrative experience within professional services is desirable
* A high level of discretion and confidentiality is a requirement of this role as you will be exposed to sensitive information
* Be a people-oriented individual with strong organisational skills
* Have strong attention to detail
* Have the ability to work professionally and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with HR systems or databases
