Overview
Grounded is an independent business, boasting of 8 sites between Bristol and Wiltshire. Between wear and tear, general upkeeping and everyday odd jobs that just accumulate over time, we are now requiring an experienced odd job person to help us bring the maintenance of our sites up to standard. The schedule can be flexible however undoubtedly there are some jobs that require early starts to be done without interruption of trade.
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong and varied background in maintenance tasks, including basic plastering, woodwork, gardening, basic plumbing and some basic electrical work. The ideal candidate is more than willing to get stuck in any challenge that presents itself and is able to organise his own schedule according to priorities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in general maintenance with a variety of basic skills.
* Must drive and have own transport, a van is a definite advantage. Mileage compensated.
* Excellent organisation and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
* Pleasant personality to be around and doesn't get phased easily.
* Experience working for a small independent with a family owned feel is an advantage.
