My Building Materials Client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Person to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with managerial experience, demonstrating the ability to drive team performance, spot upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensure the smooth operation of the department. This role requires a proactive individual who is highly organised and can bring positive energy to the team while managing both inbound queries and team development. * Experience: o Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a construction environment o Previous managerial or team leadership experience is essential. o Experience with upselling and cross-selling within a sales environment. * Key Skills: o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. o Excellent communication, both written and verbal. o Highly organised and detail-oriented. o Proactive with a results-driven mindset. o Ability to identify and seize new business opportunities. o Ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively. o Skilled in using CRM tools and sales reporting software.* Personal Attributes: o Positive energy with a can-do attitude. o Motivated, self-starter who takes initiative. o Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset. o Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentDue to the location of site you must be able to drive and own a vehicle.
